Stupid newbie Q

Post by mavraamides »

OK, I'm rediscovering this amazing game after many years collecting digital dust.

I'm working through the tutorial and it tells me to right click on an enemy unit and I should get a popup of options (single unit attack / limit losses, etc). It does make the arrow indicating the attack but does not show a popup menu. Where is the option to turn this on and off? I swear I've dug through every menu option but can't find it.

Oh, and I do have advanced rules on in case that helps.

Thanks in advance!

On the menu bar click on PLAY then click on PLAYER OPTIONS. In the PLAYER OPTIONS window you can adjust the amount of time it takes the window you are asking about by adjusting the value in MENU SHOW DELAY up or down. The lower the value the faster it opens. This is explained in the What's New document in the game's folder.

If duct tape doesn't fix it then you are not using enough duct tape.

Two things are infinite: the universe and human stupidity and I’m not sure about the universe-Einstein.
