Disallowed by MWiF. Illegal Move or Not?

Post by rkr1958 »

What I'm trying to do is NOT allowed by MWiF. I wanted to make sure what I'm not allowed to do is indeed an illegal move and not a bug.

So I want to send (i.e., trade) 4 non-oil resources from the CW to the USA and 6 oil resources from the USA to the CW. However, because the CW is sending non-oil resources to the USA, MWiF will only let me send BPs from the USA to the CW (i.e., the option to send oil is grayed out).

Game turn attached in the off chance it's relevant (i.e., a bug).

What you describe is exactly how the rule is worded. Resources or oil are still both resources and two countries cannot lend resources to each other. Same rule for BPs but A can give resources to B while B gives resources to A.

Later in the game when all powers are active you do things like A lends resources to B who lends resources to C who lends resources to A.

Paul had a typo when he said A gives resource to B while B gives resources to A. He meant A gives resources to B while B gives build points to A. I just wanted to make this explicit so some future reader of this thread is not confused.
I thought I knew how to play this game....

As long as you are replying to a post or creating a new one (i.e. not the quick entry box at the bottom), there is a checkbox for "Embed picture in post".

You can upload jpg and zip files. That's how you can show a screen shot or give others a saved game.

Hit "post reply" (not "fast reply").

You will get the following screen:

Save what you want as a jpeg file. Use paint or a similar program to generate that file.

Click on "click here to upload". Upload your picture.

Make sure that the "embed picture in post box is checked."

This is how to upload and display a picture.
