First of all, thanks for this release, hope this project can go to the end.
Ok, there's the first dumb question. When I run .exe launcher I got this error message...

Image

...that sound more or less like this:
Hey, dude, EDTBR_Launcher.exe is not a valid application for Win32, don't you know that?

Maybe your .exe have some needed requirements? Or something else? Thanks.

edit: I run your .exe under Windows xp

Ah, that's a sad thing!
I'm using Windows 8.1 and there it works!
Hmm... seems like I must install Windows XP on a second partition on my computer to test it... sorry for the issue!

what I've found out so far (with google) is that there could be 2 reasons.
Please try to install .net 4.5 if you haven't already.
Secondly I should recompile my project with a VC2010 setting...that could help!
I will release a test version within the next hour.

Maybe I'm wrong, but I think xp doesn't support .net4.5 [8|]

.net 4.5 is not compatible with XP :(

Then the second option is the only hope for XP.
Anyone has VISTA on his computer? Is there a problem as well?

Well, I recompiled my project for the platform toolset "Visual Studio 2013 - Windows XP (v120_xp)"
I hope it works now!

Please download it here:
Folder
and choose EDBTR_DLL_067_Release_for_VC2013_XP.zip

If you get the same error on XP as before, please let me know!
Then I must reinstall my old VC2010 and recompile my project again!

P.S. Perhaps I'm working for Microsoft and want you to upgrade to Windows 8.1 [:D]

btw, there is a need for discussion about my "lowered fuel consumption in dogfights" and the modified "distribute OIL/Fuel to locations" function in my project.
But we should not start the discussion until my project works under all windows versions, imo!

I have downloaded the new version (for XP).
I have opened the game with the Launcher, and this time the game is launched.
But I can´t see any change. I can´t see the new buttons, nor can I open the editor... I'm not sure if I'm missing something.

I have loaded an old save, and also I have started a campaign. Both playing axis side.

be sure that your btr.exe is not set to compatible mode. Right click on btr.exe and examine the compatibilty tab
(don't know how it's called in the english version of windows; in the german version the tab
is named as "Kompatibilität" ) no check marks should be there...

Also in the main menu of the game the version string should be v1.02.067 SE.
Do you see it?

Compatibility is not checked.
I can´t see that version. Only 1.02 (IIRC).

Then it's not working! Damn!
I'll install VC2010 tomorrow on my computer and recompile the project again!
Perhaps it works then for you!
