Make sure you don't land that division on an enemy beach without prep [;)]. If you keep the Chungking prep target, then land it at a base you've already taken.

Now, I have been told that I don't need prep during the amphibious bonus.[;)]
Anyhow, I will fast transport in some boots on the ground and land following anyhow. Or grab it with paratroops.

I'm not sure if that's a bit of forum lore or not. It's certainly not in the manual.

This will be a fun AAR to check in on-- Maybe you could provide a little more backstory on how Pearl Harbor and all was taken? That's quite a rare achievement and the Allies are really hamstrung now. How is the Allied morale, does he plan on continuing? Seems like it could be difficult to muster up anything better than a draw for the Allies.
Perhaps its time to sack Vancouver, or Seattle maybe?

One last thing to note: this operation in Canada is all or nothing. It will be a huge supply drain. Can't stress that enough. It will also mean very high production of early planes.
It is definitely not for the feint of heart.
Incrementally, how much more expensive is this than say invading Oz? More, simply because the air war will never end.

The Honshu-Victoria island SLOC is only slightly longer than the Soerebaja-Perth SLOC or the Balikpapan-Townsville SLOC.
Supply expenditure would be less in Canada I think, because:
a. You would/should have an air war in Oz too if you went there.
b. Only the 14th Army plus SNFL paras -about 3 division equivalents- will be committed in Canada (unless your plan is to bring more units than I was planning), whereas in Oz the army would be much bigger and in full contact with the enemy.
There isn't much difference I believe, but unless someone makes a proper analysis we won't know for sure.
Regarding KB, I was thinking of redeploying it to Singapore, immediately after the Victoria landing. Mini KB+Umnak is strong enough to defend the Honshu-Victoria SLOC. I happen to share your worry about the SRA being counterinvaded, so plan accordingly. He will need carriers to invade there.
I do not urge you to do a particular course of action, just offering my limited perspective as the former Japanese CinC[;)]

Definitely for the worse I think. The army is the one of the few places left untouched by the general madness. [:D]ORIGINAL: Lowpe
Facebook really has changed things. Not sure if it is for the better or worse. Some Mom wanted them to eat a diet of tofu & seeds. Goodness.

All that I know is that it increases the offload rate... allows your xAK's to offload like they are AK's or even AKA's for a few months. Can't say that I have seen it do anything else.

Why send the division in first, if it is undefended. I will simply grab it and the land the division the following day after the base is secure.
