Base Adminstration

Post by ETF »

Ok looking at Koepang under my airfield info. It says Administration 5 out of 15 air groups. Does that mean only 5 air groups fly with no penalties or I can squeeze in another 10 air groups into the base with no penalties?

Thanks

It means that you currently have 5, and 15 is the maximum before incurring penalties for the number of groups. Note the following: Groups that are stood down or on training collectively count as 1 group. If you activate them, they will each count as 1 group. There is also a stacking limit for the number of engines (you see that separately on the display). Somewhat similar to groups, planes that are stood down count for much less than their real value. Activate them and they will be fully counted. Exceed the maximum, incur penalties. Also note that you must have at least 1 air support present for each aircraft, or incur a penalty.

Nope, but about half the staff in the office did. Actual office went on generators for almost 12 hours.

We sat back and watched the show from our house. [8D] Pretty spectacular.

IIRC squadrons set to training count as 1/3 of a squadron for base administration purposes.

Don't forget another important point, that 5 out of 15 may drop to 5 out of 12 if your airfield is damaged by an enemy bombing raid. An Airfield of 5 will drop in effectiveness to 4 if damaged...
