Perhaps you could tell us how the IJA of the 1940s handled "Don't Ask, Don't Tell" issues...
I suspect there were no "rights" involved.

Can I get that insanely hot Emilia Clarke to keep me warm? [8D]

I'm more into dead red-headed Wildings.

I miss fall in New England for two reasons - the foliage cannot be beat and fresh picked Macintosh apples. The crisp mornings also do help..jeans and sweatshirt weather. [:)]

Had similar experiences in southern Ontario. Loved to take walks down country roads and trails with the kids.

I'm in NE corner of Tennessee. I call it "Goldilocks weather"....not too hot (summers in 80s with some low 90s) and not too cold (30s to low 40s with a cold spell down into teen's). We get some snow (they close schools here when they get an 1" or less), but the Yankee part of me would like twice the amount of snow we get. So, if we get 2" I would like 4 or 5" of it. I want to get an Alaskan Malamute as a pet since I had one through high school, but it doesn't get cold enough for them.

Very quiet turn!

Bloody game might have just killed my planned offensive. 3 of the 7 units went NW instead of W. [:@] I´ll get a screen up tomorrow.

Looks like we are back on track! [:)]

------------------------
NORPAC/WC
------------------------

Poor Prince Henry is finally discovered trying to get out of Vancouver and is promptly sunk. No strat bombing!

------------------------
India
------------------------

So annoyed by the movement issue. [:@] Now I have to see if the 7th OZ can hold behind the 18th ID. Jeff realized the danger here and is now turning back trying to escape before the noose is closed.

Have to hurry as the 5th Japanese ID are moving for Chittagong. The 6th OZ ID is readied at Calcutta and will reinforce as soon as the 70th British ID arrive in 5 days. If he reinforces too much I´ll have to pull back to Calcutta.

British Hurricanes make a mess of LRCAPing Zeroes shooting down 8 for one own loss.

------------------------
China
------------------------

Bombardments from the air and ground on the Ankang road continues. As I reinforce the roadblock these units arrive without forts making them extremely exposed. In many cases a 350 AV Corps is reduced to 100 in just a couple of days. Troops are digging in at the hex behind. I´ll soon has to abandon this position.

6 units are moving are moving up to Tuyun. I have 1000 AV in a blocking position. Not everyone is dug in though.

------------------------
SOPAC
------------------------

The rest of the 27th ID arrive on OZ. They will need a couple of days to rest before I´ll decide where to send them. I´m thinking of going "all in" at Noumea. Its VPs will be key to avoid a Japanese AV. And with the Japanese commitment in Canada I might actually have a shot at hanging on to it. Thoughts?

------------------------
Upgrades
------------------------

Time for ship upgrades are coming up. I always pick the wrong opportunity to do this. But perhaps this is the best opportunity to let York and Sara upgrade in OZ? AA upgrades are substantial and doubles in value.

The fleet in the IO will have to wait though. They have to hold the flank.

Indian and OZ army are now fully upgraded. One OZ BDE is still stuck with militia squads though for a little longer. Need 22 more squads before I can upgrade them.

I´ve held up here far longer then I ever thought. Lack of supply and relentless pressure is wearing me down here. Supply at its peek of 37k in Chungking is now down to 10,5k.

The Changsha area has been pretty much spared from combat and have some nice units. Given supply I could probably hold here for another month or two. Now I think Jeff will just be able to crash through. All units are in red and some are starting to show zero. Forts and terrain don´t help much when your AV is adjusted down to 10%. [:(]

Here is the Japanese progress. AF at Coal Harbor rapidly reached 3. Still not enough to protect itself so Jeff is keeping the KB on station. No point for me in trying to close the AF right now. Need to wait for the right opportunity. Besides every day gives me a little bit more time to train.

Strategic bombing has been very light so far. Mainly done by KB at smaller undefended targets. Total strategic VPs are now 204. Nothing I worry about too much. At least not yet!

You could send some of that gaggle of subs right into the harbor looking for a lucky CV hit. IJN ASW right now is terrible, and you have several major shipyards close by. Don't let him get comfortable. Your subs are terrible, but given enough shots . . . And he does NOT have many good shipyards close by.

About Noumea - I agree that he must be thin somewhere with the commitment to Canada. And his landing bonus is melting away ...

About the CV upgrade - how long is it? Any longer than two weeks and KB has enough time to leave the Coal Harbour area, replenish and patch up accumulated damage, and be in the Oz area clearing ports.

About your movement issue.... were you moving multiple hexes? They might've decided on a "funny" path. Looking at the hexes in question, moving through those grassy hexes is faster than the jungle hexes, so if you set them to move multiple hexes they might've ducked out of the jungle to move faster.

Unless I'm misunderstanding where they started out... in which case, the infantry obviously picked the road over the grass? [:'(]

Its a 21 day upgrade! Also a little worried about leaving them stuck in port in OZ...would feel a lot safer if they were at CT. But if I send them there they will be gone for far longer then 21 days...might not be back until mid June.

Nope! Just across the river (one hex). All was individually set to move there. All was showing "moving W". I have had this issue many times before but the timing isn´t usually this bad! [:D]

AMs operating in 1-ship TFs usually get in unseen.
