More reinforcements are coming. Mostly transport but a few TDs as well.
I have the Sandman doing a back up for most of the map but he continues to come forward in others. I found an AT unit coming out of a corn feild. I couldn't figure out why my willy meter went off on unit behind the hill. I sent a truck down the road and up pops this AT. I sent a halftrack after it and routed it but had to send some others to help out.
Moving cautiously forward. ridge top to ridge top, I spot an FO running away. He's not running anymore, kinda having a dirt nap.
Sandman has at least 4 Shermans and still most of a company of Mech Infantry and is still dangerous. His straight ahead style is working against him as I see he is preparing for another advance. I always lose some units when he does that but he takes losses as well. There is a distinct lack of artilery fire from the Sandman lately. No more 105HTs showed up and no off map artillery. I targeted his 81mm park with 5.5's so that is quiet for the time being. I think he has probably bought ammo for them although none have been spotted. 1400 reinforcement points buys more than a company and a couple of Shemans.
My ATGs and 40mm AA have taken a small toll of vehicles but no AFVs yet. OP isn't what it used to be. Still, I'm happy to see the Scout cars with their 50cals being eliminated. Pop up that Sherman for another shot from the 17pdrs. They'd love that. It isn't often 17pdrs miss from less than 20 hexes:D
Back to you Sandman. I wrote another AAR but I must not have submitted it
Sandman: Do you want to get on with the WC03? We can still finish this if you want. I doubt if you'll get by the rest of my ATGs and their accompaning MGs and AA units, you are welcome to try. If you want to let RED know we'll carry on with the next round.
