Email i send to Docup

Hi. I think something go wrong with Your op.
I am no telling about air phase, but amphibious phase. I have proposition.

Let replay that turn again but You will give proper orders to land on island and not orders to falow SAG. end we will see how this end.
We Do it proper way and not criple you op becouse of engine limitation. They shoul start unlaoding just after arrival in night.

PS. I will hold making turn until You response

We replay turn this time amph TFs go directly with unload.
It was different turn.

TB manage to damage sunk some enemy APAs and APAs. And damage with TT at lest one BB.
For cost of two DD jap CAs almost anihilate enemy CL TF sinking, prabably, 3 Cleveland class cruiser and few DD. Later they duel with enemy CAs damaging at lest two of them

After that unload start.

At day no combat in AM phase. In PM phase LBA and KB fly. Carnage was big. Allies lost less CVE s but more damage go toward amph and SAG s.

Allies unload 1700av on island but i believe they pay higher price for that

Details when back from dinner with my sister

Groud combat

This time allied troop unload as they should. It not loking good for Japanise defenders.
If i hold 3-4 days i will be able to unload reinforments

I thik redoing turn was fair. Elier one was bad for Docup because of wrong orders to his Amph TF. This time it go as should.
Japanese defenders will have bad time now but turn was made fair and Docup suffer much bigger Navy loses that in original game. 3 CLs lost, CA and 4 BB damaged, many DD, DE, APA and AKA lost.

I am thinking to counterattack tomorrow.
I know that there are also fleet carriers near. I have no DL on them this turn but in original they where 90 miles SE of Shimushiri-jima. Only logical thing to do by Docup is retreat and back stronger. His ground troops will be ok for some time.

Docup suffer serious loses, he have lot of damaged ships. Many of his SAGs are out of ammo.
The same with battleships that use most of his ammo supporting landing.
If i do this right I can catch most of those damaged ships tomorrow.

It was very honorable of you to let your opponent re-do the turn. It will make the game better for both of you ;]

I don't think Doccup has any real shot in taking the base given your level 6 fort. Without control of seas and air the amphibious troops will get pinned down on the beaches with Japanese surepression. 50k soldiers going into Japanese captivity is not how you win in 45.

pound his ground forces ... keep their disruption up. Get CAP up over your forces to protect against his B29's ... if you end up denying him this beach head; Huge victory.

BANZAI!!!

Waiting for turn from Docup. It will probably take some time for him to do it.

Plan for next turn is simple.

At night over 30+ torpedo boats will engage enemy fleet. 10% moonlight, lot of damaged ships and probably with fires should create perfect environment for them.
I am also sending small SAG.

KB will move closer to Shimushiri-jima. I hope leaky CAP from KB will cover air space over base. I also sending some LCAP from nearest AFs.
KB is reinforced by some LBA groups. Number of operational planes is 1095.

100 LBA bombers will attack ground troops.

I am moving more BBs closer to area. They will rotate and bombard enemy positions on island

It was not good plan

KB move toward Shimushiri-jima but some of allied carriers also. An we exchange fire.
At the end i will cal it tactical tie but small strategic allied victory.

What is worst Japanese KB bombers where decimated and i need retreat to take replacements and repair damaged carriers.

Japan lost CVE, CVL and another CVL and CVE are in bad shape.
Allies lost at lest 5 more CVE, CVL and few CV are damaged.

Details after i will have small drink. My hands are shaking
