Japan rails 2x MAR to Shanghai. Italy rails AT gun to Tunis. Germany rails INF from Poland to Saarbrucken and 2x INF from Hungary to Netherlands and Poland.

Italian INF moves to mountains adjacent to Tunis.

Germany lost their courage and declares only two automatic attacks. No combat in China.

Glasgow Mil rails to Plymouth.

Zhukov disorganises himself to restore supply in Manchuria. The 3 Inf move up on Tsitsihar. 2 Cav move as far as they can along the rail tracks from Vladivostok and Chita.

Mao and Lanchow Mil move into mountain near Tianshui. Nationalists shadow the advancing Japanese forces near Wuhan.

CW moves London mil to Bristol and the two Inf Divs on Sardinia swap positions.

France moves to get two units in front of the Germans on the shortest route to Paris but it's all looking a bit desperate as the gaps appear elsewhere.

1 combat declared in Manchuria with 3 air support added. Assault table?

I wonder how bad Japanese situation is in central and southern China... Hopefully not as bad as situation in France.

I dare say the Japanese are too dispersed in China to have any impact in general. But that is my opinion.

This is a game of brute force. Mass your troops somewhere and screen other sectors or you won't go anywhere in China.

"In China I have same plan as last time (it will remain secret for some time). But this time I will be focused on my target, not shoot from the hip (and change plans immediately when I see an opportunity) like I usually do."

I said this in post #28 before starting the game.

My goal was to destroy Communist Chinese and not attack Nationalist Chinese at all, even if they give me good opportunity.

After losing Wuhan I had to send some troops to protect my supply line. Then they started advancing close to Hangchow and I sent more troops to central China. They were too far from closest own city, they were not able to attack...

And USSR... I have to send troops to Manchuria. I was worried Chinese CAV from Wuhan would have galloped northeast. That would have required railing units to block the way. Now I can rail all possible troops to Manchuria.

I had a clear vision what I want to do with Germany, but I need to think if I do that now.

Edit: situation in France is very good for Germany. My INF could walk to Lyons, but I think I have some attacking to do.

I did consider the Cav move but it couldn't have galloped far enough to get out of reach of the units around Nanking and Shanghai. It would have been a relatively easy kill barring a very poor roll. So, on balance, discretion prevailed this time. Hopefully a better opportunity will materialise.

I thought that might be juicy enough target...

On a 7 Japanese ships avoid danger. They sail to Sea of Japan box 2. Large naval fleet follows to box 3 including CV's, BB's and some escorting ships.

No naval combat.
