reinstall question

I tries loading Dababes C with map extensions and the Asian roads but have only succeeded in screwint the game up completely. I now get an message od Ërror: Can not load map data¨when trying to start a game.

Anyway, my question is this. I got the original game as a disc, but that disk is in the United States and I am in Mexico (for the school year). I think I need to uninsatll the whole game but can I get a download for the basic game?

If you buy the disc version, you get the download version too. Matrix may give you a download link, you'd have to contact tech support.

For future reference, the game doesn't care how many copies you have on your hard drive. Many people install once, then clone the folder when they install a mod. This prevents the sort of situation you found yourself in.
