Toaw IV equipment database

Post by josant »

Toaw III use a database taken from Toaw:century of warfare which was published in 2000. Now this database is very outdated, it lacks of most modern equipment.

My question is: anyone knows if for TOAW 4, the database will also include new modern equipment ?

Designers are able to create their own equipment mods. So, that issue has sort of been outsourced.

Will the database still have a fixed number of entries, or can players add/remove entries from the DB?

For instance, in version 3.x, when I tried to make a "WWII East Front only" database by deleting all of the Cold War and Western Front items, the database repopulated itself to include random entries up to the fixed number of datbase items.
