Question about scenario .org files

Hi, I noticed that many scenarios have more than one .org file. For instance, the First Attack on the Bloc scenario seems to have three org files:
Etzion_Bloc_1_1948.org
Etzion_Bloc_2_1948.org
Etzion_Bloc_3_1948.org

I didn't see anything about multiple .org files per scenario in the generally excellent parts of the manual dealing with modding and scenario creation--what is their purpose?

Also, while the .org editor seems to indicate that the Palmach platoons should have a strength of 7, in the scenario they seem to have a strength of 6. Here is the relevant text from the .org file:
C2202204 41 7 Reserve Palmach Company
P222045 42 7 1st Platoon
P222045 43 7 2nd Platoon
P222045 44 7 3rd Platoon
I've assumed that the "7" in the lines above (and in the org editor) refer to strength, but maybe 7 means something else?

Ahh, the 7 is the morale level. Those multiples are probably for several battles, like for a linked campaign, or for several different times, same battle?

In this case 3 separate battles, hence the 3 different orgs!

Each scenario should have a unique org and map file to go with them, that way they are all nicely packagaed together, making maintance much easier in the future.

Got it; I thought there was only one scenario in Etzion (First attack on the Bloc), but it turns out there is at least one more (End of the Bloc), and presumably a third one as well.
