Task force ?

I moved a Task force next to Cherbourg to help in the land battle and its disappeared. Checked battles and could not find reasons. How would I find out what happen to it?

It might be displaced due to the damage done by enemy NI.

So is it completely destroyed, gone... I cannot find it on map or CR. It did have a high damage 85. Haven't play allies since last Jan.

Destroyed. I think it is 8 or 12 weeks to get it back.
Did the Germans still hold Cherbourg? Ports with forts are ports with guns. They don't take kindly to boats with strange flags.
One of the patches changed the efficacy of TFs in breaking up naval patrol in their range (2 hexes), but they are themselves subject to additional damage from what naval interdiction is generated.

Cool it will came back. Yes the Germans are still in Cherbourg. Thought the naval guns would help. Iam dropping the Germans some 'stuff' from the air. Iam building up for the breakout attempt and deciding if I want to land in Southern France.
