Setting up random battle/scenario?

Hello:

Sorry if I am using the wrong terms but thinking about getting back to PCO.

How easy is to create a small random battle with mostly infantry and maybe a few support weapons? Is it covered in the manual? I am thinking of ASL-type sized scenarios where you might have 10-20 units per side.

Also I can find the patch in the Member's Area but where is the original game?

here a SS of the random battle generator. You can set the sliders to whatever percent you want i.e 80% infantry and 20% support or whatever you want.Same with the random campaign generator.

As bud points out with the screen shot the random battle generator is fairly straightforward to use. You can do a lot more customizing, but using the sliders that bud refers to is the simplest way to get what you described.
