Mouse way off

Post by TSCofield »

Windows 10 on my latest computer. Installed, followed some suggestions but have a problem.

My command line

C:\wtpae\War in the Pacific Admiral's Edition\War in the Pacific Admiral Edition.exe" -f -px1920 -py1080 -archive -SingleCpuOrders -dd_sw

Problem is that if I go extended map the mouse ends up not centering on the button. In other words if I want to click on a button I have to go down and right with the cursor.

The mouse works fine if I don't use the extended map but is impossible both in game and in the menu. If I take the -dd sw the mouse works on buttons but the entire screen is smaller and up to the right.

I'm sure there is an easy fix but I didn't see any mention of this in other threads.

Eh, never mind. Reset to 1600x900 and it works. Weird though it won't do it in full screen at the normal resolution.

I thought it sounded like some kind of video driver problem.

Tom,

I'm curious. What led you to use the -SingleCpuOrders -dd_sw switches?

I'd read that the -dd_sw switch eliminated the scrolling delay. I had some horrible hesitations with Win10 before using it.

It did btw.

The single CPU was what another person had for their setup along with the -dd sw switch. The game seems to run well on the computer with it so I just left it. It probably doesn't need it but if it ain't broke, you know the rest.
