OPGEN Messages

Command: Northern Inferno is a DLC for Command: Modern Operations. Set in 1975, the Cold War is omnipresent and beneath the veneer of détente the tension between the two superpowers irreversibly escalate towards the ultimate confrontation.

OPGEN Messages

Post by AlGrant »

Not seen them mentioned in the forums and can't see them via the game screens, so thought I'd just say how much I liked the inclusion of the OPGEN/OPTASK/THREAT ORBAT messages.

For those who have not found them they are tucked away in the /Northern Inferno/Files/ scenario directories.
They are authentic and a nice touch from the scenario authors . Good to read before starting a scenario and getting an idea of the threat assessment.

It's easy enough to understand most of the info relevant to a scenario but for those who want to know the format better (maybe to write their own) this may help:
EXTAC 1006 - STRUCTURED MESSAGES

Pity they're not accessible through a link on the scenario briefing screen.
