I would be tempted to ground strike one of those retreating stacks in the south with the He 111 at long range.

Me too, but there is an AA gun one stack. I have made my plan and it is awesome [;)]

There will be small break waiting for USSR setting up reserves.

Yet the AA is flipped after it fires, so maybe you could get the AA if spent doing its designated job.

If I'm the USSR, I do not flip the AA gun no matter what...if he cares to save it. Flipping it will mean certain death for that unit. I cant see everything in the stacks, perhaps if its to save an ARM, HQ, or maybe a MECH +, then.

USSR reserves are what I expected, expect Minsk is empty. France was only warm up, what you will see now is DAS BLITZKRIEG!

Rumania is aligned, on a 2 US gets mad as usual.

Germany and Japan land, Italy combined.

Italy sends 2 subs (one to each sea area) to Cape St. Vincent Box 1 and Bay of Biscay box 2.

Italy initiates combat in 3 sea areas.

Cape St. Vincent
Axis 8, Allies 7.

Next West Med. I guess CW bombers won't fly?

France want to avoid combat? If I'm correct (which is not often in naval combat) France can't cause damage to Italian ship.

I'm not sure. How many surprise points are there, just choosing box 2?

Edit: Forget that, I was looking at the wrong column on the table.

Avoid combat, thanks.

Battle intercepts to Bay of Biscay? Is it box 0 or something else?'

Edit: LND Battle (1 air to sea factor) can reach boxes 0 and 1.

Axis 2, Allies 3.

Allies NE, Axis A.

On a 5 Italian sub is aborted.

Both Germany and Japan ground strikes one hex. German Stuka do what they were expected to do.

I'm not sure I would have used the Stuka on that ground strike...you would have overwhelmed that unit anyway, unless you were paranoid about a very bad die roll.

What about the ground strike in the south?

Germany rails MTN and INF div to East Prussia, INF to Bucharest.

Italy rails MIL to Bordeaux.

Germany attacks 5 cities. Japan declares 3 attacks (1 on Manchuria and 2 in China).

Japan uses Attacking HQ support in 2 combats where it is possible.

Ju88 gives 8 points ground support in Riga. Rumanian IAR 37 and German He111 gives 10 points ground support in Chisinau. Japan gives 3 points ground support in Manchuria.

Do USSR want to send bombers? Japan can intercept with 1 and 3 factor carrier planes.

What about the ground strike in the south?

I needed that ground strike to take all cities I wanted. Germany don't have enough units. No ground strike in south, I want to take Chisinau without disorganizing my units.
