[NEED DATES]
Hi,
Please can we add the Mk 8 Mod 1 SDV to the Royal Navy (UK). It's referenced on wiki here:
https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/SEAL_Delivery_Vehicle
"The Special Boat Service of the United Kingdom Special Forces operates three Mk8 Mod 1 vehicles."
Additionally it can be deployed from HMS Swiftsure class
http://i.dailymail.co.uk/i/pix/2009/05/ ... 68x286.jpg
or the more recent HMS Astute class:

GBU-61 JABS
This one will be kind of interesting. Not quite sure how it would fit into the existing database structure, but it's pretty neat. Something to think about given the new mine warfare capabilities of the sim.

[ADDED DB v443]
While working on a scenario involving Algeria, I noticed this was not in the database. Please consider adding this one--it's just the sort of thing that could end up in a scuffle with one of Algeria's neighbors like Tunisia or Spain.
Thanks for considering it.

- Please replace Generic Gun Director [IR] (80NM) with STING-EO Mk2 [Radar/IR/TV] sensors
- Please replace Generic Laser Rangefinder with STING-EO Mk2 [Laser Rangefinder]
- Please create and add ARES-2N EW antenna
- Please create and add AselFLIR 300T [TV/IR/Laser Rangefinder/Designator]

Is this right place to suggest new database entries? If yes, here's some new/old Finnish Defence Forces stuff.
New equipment:
Finnish Air Force 3 new EADS CASA C-295 transport aircraft, one of has ELIN/SIGINT/electronic warfare Dragon Shield roll-on/roll-off system from Lockheed Martin.

From "ALmaz-Antey" site :
3M-47 “Ghibka” Turret System
"The 3M-47 “Ghibka” turret system is designed to provide guidance and automated remote launching of Igla type missiles at extremely low ranges, to defend surface ships with a displacement of 200 tons or over against attacks by enemy anti-ship missiles, aircraft, and helicopters in natural (combat) and artificial jamming conditions.
The “Ghibka” system uses information from the Furke, Fregat, or Pozitiv ship radar systems"

also keep in mind , currently Gibka ("Gibka" is for export, for RuNavy it is "Komar") use 9M342 "Igla-S" , but soon there will be new missile ,9M336 "Verba" :
"Developer of turret "Komar" plan to integrate missile from MANPADS "Verba"
As told Odintsov, with producing "Verba" Engineering Design Bureau (KBM) held preliminary discussions on the possibility of the integration of the newest missile complex "Mosquito".
"This would require, of course, some improvements, but it is feasible, - he said.
Earlier it was reported that the KBM is planning to develop a marine version of a complex "Verba" this missile set the first in the world to three spectral seeker operating in the ultraviolet, near and mid-infrared range. This makes it more sensitive set of weapons and increases the range of the real target lock.
In addition, the assistant director of the company "Ratep" reported that Zelenodolsk Plant. Gorky, built for the Russian Navy small missile ships of the project 21631, decided to equip them with turret "Komar" designed for automated launch missiles of "Igla"."

Should the Searchwater radar on the Merlin's be a "loadout" as it is a Roll-on/Roll-off system that can be used on the Merlin ASW helos?
"Intended to replace the RN's current Sea King ASaC.7 (SKASaC) from 2018, the Crowsnest programme is based on the provision of a roll-on/roll-off mission fit for the 30 RN Merlin HM.2 anti-submarine warfare (ASW) helicopters currently being delivered under the Merlin Capability Sustainment Programme (MCSP)."

[UPDATED DB v443]
Pechora-2M
Facilities #1789, #2253, and #2256
Just a few small changes after seeing these promotional videos:
Part 1
Part 2
At around 9:31 in part 1, the biggest issue: Currently, the Pechora-2M has the original SA-3 camera, when it shows the system as having a more modern optical system with both TV and IR cameras.
Around 8:30 in part 1, something more subjective-the system is more automated, which could mean a faster OODA loop compared to the legacy SA-3. Again, this is more subjective and less concrete, but the upgrades were designed for increase ease of firing.

[NEED MORE INFO ON F-35 INSTALLATION]
Put NGJ OECM loads on f-35c from 2022 and Growler atrcraft ioc 2021. The loadout is conformal and based on AESA which should allow for Use on F-35c without adversely effecting its stealth capabilities to a great extent.
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Next_Generation_Jammer
Capabilities greatly increased performance over the AN/ALQ-99 based systems currently in service.

RE: Thread for DB3000 database problems, updates or issues
The ECM pod can be conformal, but how about the antenna???
Even F-117 was devoid of RWR to prevent the detection by a radar wave hitting in the RWR receptor antenna.

RE: Thread for DB3000 database problems, updates or issues
Actually the mod to the pod for the F-35c they are trying to design it to work while in weapons bay. So would have zero impact on RCS. Also as brought up earlier in this thread the radar on the F-35C will have OECM capability and tie in with this NGJ system.

Hi All
This string is locked for now. We really need to get caught up and can't get buried by people emptying wikipedia in. We'll open this back up later when we're caught up.
If anybody has a specific need for a platform or a fix that they'll need quickly please PM me.
Thanks!
Mike

I see that the HMS Astute has been fixed to show that it only has one reactor.
The US SEAWOLF class though, still shows 2 reactors. It only has on S6W reactor. That includes the JIMMY CARTER as well.
The class consists of:
SSN21 SEAWOLF
SSN22 CONNECTICUT
SSN23 JIMMY CARTER (modified - special ops sub with extra MMP module spliced into the middle hull section)
