Command was running on my home PC and I logged in using TeamViewer!

Oh and although the Tunny was running at 30kts to evade a torpedo and had a skunk directly ahead (turned out to be a DDG).... she survived! [:)]

When you are researching for background material whilst developing a scen, and coming across elements that you HAVE to add- and happily find that Ragnar has ALREADY added them to the database! [X(] [&o]

When you wake up in the middle of the night murmuring about vampires, and have to pretend it's because you watched a horror movie, but in reality the nightmare was about Exocets.

CMANO*s immense database is really valuable. I think subscription to Jane's data is something like $400+ minimum per year. So game is bargain in that sense too.

The Command database by itself is worth the cost of admission. A copy of the 2014 version of Janes Fighting Ships will cost you $1100. Similar pricing for the Air Forces and Land Forces annuals that they print. And considering that Commands Database covers all these plus Strategic Weapons, UAV's, and Electronic Warfare units (each subject has its Janes textbook equilivant), youre saving a heck of a lot of money.

Most importantly, the database is upgradable (until when? CMANO2? CMANO 3D edition?) as long as the database devs do their works.

But as always. Every units deserve short descriptions to let player know their origins and purposes, only data references surely not enough for real curious players.

That's when Wikipedia comes in handy. I usually spend some time before starting a scenario, specially when in command of hardware that I do not know very well (or at all [:D]).

LOL! Totally missed the fact that you're using what I potentially was just asking in the thread on tablets.

Can you move windows onto your phone with TeamViewer, so I can put messages on my phone and play full window on my tablet?

My gosh, I gotta start taking gingko biloba or something. Must be retirement woes distracting me way too much.

Don't know, never tried it. But I think you'd need to find a way to configure the tablet to have some sort of extended screen/desktop. I normally play on a laptop and external monitor, putting the message log on the laptop and CMANO on the larger monitor. I know on my phone/TeamViewer I can switch between either screen.
