Bug with Nahimic for MSI

Hi,

I have the steam version Red storm (not the dlc), the application is crashing and I was able to find the issue, it's related to Nahimic for MSI (sound apps). It' weird because this application is causing issue with the 2 last matrix games that were recently updated, CMANO and now FC, I don't have any issue with any of my 400 steam gamees...

I have 2 error messages, the first one


Click Ok, proceed to a scenario than I got this weird error message, can't go further, game need to be closed


If I close the nahimic.exe in my task bar before starting the game, it's fine.

What is that software?

My guess is that software is not compatible with either our audio format or some Windows codex or both. Looked at the webl link and it looks like a post processing software. I would go with turning it off when playing. You can email the bug report to us as well or screen cap the show bug report call stack tab.

In CMANO, Nahimic seems to really stick its nose on anything DirectX-related (incl. WPF-rendered UI elements).

Sunburn, I told Rob last night my thought was it was hooking into the message stream and we are overwhelming it or it is blocking us and thusly crashing. At least we can note an incompatibility in the future.
