Unit routing issue

Ive posted this on the tech forum yesterday but im gonna post it here as just in case im misunderstanding a game rule.

On turn 4 I placed an amphib next to Palermo and another two amphibs in the hexes sw and nw of Trapani. On turn 5 i attacked Trapani and the units routed. Game reports those units as isolated.

Is there any reason (apart from a bug) why those units in Trapani would rout.

It does sound like a bug. Do you have a save from the start of your turn 5?
