Operation Torch Will Not Load

Hello,

I already have WitW on my laptop (Windows 10), with the most current update.
No problems with the game.
I place the Torch DVD in my reader.
The reader spins and spins but I get no command prompt.
I go to the DVD drive on Windows Explorer and double click on the Application file (the 96MB file).
The next two messages I receive is "Failed to open output file" and "Failed self extraction"

will the full game purchase you also get a download link, if the dvd won't load, use that, for me as a try boot into safe mode with copy and paste file off dvd onto HD, or run in normal mode and copy paste, eg copy off the dvd and onto your c: drive then run from there, must be an admin account with full user permissions.

Thanks for your advice. I sent a help ticket and the techs think that my disk/file is corrupted. I did what you suggested (copy the file onto the c: drive) but I received the same two error messages. More to follow.

The tech support guys online are great and now I have the answer. After Slitherine sent me another Torch disk (that one failed as well) they sent me a message saying a particular Master CD they were using to make copies was corrupted. They are fixing the Master CD and will ship a good one as soon as they can.
