Reinforcements same as activation?

VR designs has been reinforced with designer Cameron Harris and the result is a revolutionary new operational war game 'Barbarossa' that plays like none other. It blends an advanced counter pushing engine with deep narrative, people management and in-depth semi-randomized decision systems.

Reinforcements same as activation?

Post by schmolywar »

Reinforcements arrive to a historical schedule the manual says. What then are activations? Activations are only about APs?
"The Russian advance over this hastily improvised road, constructed with the aid of the most primitive facilities, was, for a time, accompanied by the strains of band music.".

Hi Schmolywar,

I'd watch the video on activation to get a quick overview.

Short answer is that, yes, activations determine how many AP's all the subordinate Div's in an Army receive.

Reinforcements do arrival historically but that's only the Army HQ's. Their Div's commence arriving on the following turn but on a probability basis which you can influence by where you position the HQ.

On the transport grid gives the Div's a 40% chance of arrival, off in the country side halves this and being in a city doubles it.

Cheers,
Cameron
