Very different feel from WITE where the panzers can zip around like crazy. I actually think this game does a better job on logistics than WITE for the Axis. Feels much more constraining.

Absolutely, the German logistics system seems very well done, that is this game's strongest point in my view. Of course Sov logistics does not seem any better than WitE.

I would like to play the German side again but for me all of the decisions about commendations, propaganda films, Russian atrocities, etc. were extremely tedious at best and kind of nausea-inducing at worst, so not sure I will bother. It would be nice if at some point they will introduce an option to just play with the logistics and command issues without the other chrome.

Seems like you have a lot of units in open ground...suppose it couldn't be helped? Will you post photos of the map after each turn?

Would be interesting if in multi-player games each side could make adjustments as to the locations of their units.

Yeah, I was lucky if I could move units one hex last turn, so my main objective was to spread them about a little bit to force the Germans to do more attacks.

I'll be posting screenshots of the map, although not sure about the whole front every turn. Is there anything anyone would particularly like to see? If so I can make special efforts to post that.

I just assumed the bonus was permanent but agree that it's not clear from reading the manual or the resulting report.

Yes, the report doesn't list this bonus on an on-going basis, that's why I assumed it is one-turn only.

You are correct. Cameron confirmed it over in tech support for me.

I'm very sorry, I've abandoned this AAR and this game; generally I don't agree with several design decisions in the game, and I think MichaelT would appreciate a more enthusiastic opponent. Good luck to all of you with the game.
