Just got the game today. The manual mentions a tutorial downloaded on my hard drive. Can't find it. Where is it? Thanks, Ray

There is no tutorial. Only a manual, us, you, the game, and a bottle of Gin.

The Coral Sea scenario is a good place to start. It's short, so you can play it and replay it several times -- try both sides -- and get a decent feel for a lot of the basics of the game.

Welcome, best way to learn is to find a human opponent and wade into something simple. Check out the After Action Reports. Read through one or two of the better ones and you will be ready for a campaign. The manual is good but never updated since the game was introduced. Lots of content has been added since then. Make sure you are fully patched up as well.

Trial and error. But use the small scenario's. Play them 3 or 4 times each. Then find a PBEM opponent for one or two of them. Then move to a big scenario if you are comforable. Don't worry about learning everything. You won't. I don't think their is anyone here who can claim to know everything about this game. Except maybe Alfred.[;)]....GP

There is unfortunately no tutorial like the one for War in the Pacific; However, there are ample tutorial videos on YouTube and comprehensive reference material. I am more than happy to guide you through some of the basics while playing the Coral Sea scenario as PBEM.
