one thing i miss in most of my game now, to get in and fight sometimes, at the most basic of levels, i wish to be the commander one day, the C&C the next, then a tank commander the next all rolled into one game, on my wish list

it's a good job the troops know i'm a bit thick as these ran for cover, while others didn't run fast enough, this is what happen when it's tea time and your eating and talking and playing games, some of your men die[X(][8|][;)]

82mm my hairy bum, more like big Bertha coming down on me head by the size and noise of it, the screen rocks, the men fall over and i spill me tea, this is no way to keep my biscuits dry, i nearly drop one in.

Glad you're enjoying it. Make sure you apply the latest patch, it does add some nice features and fixes some issues.

Thanks

i'm on the Demo, but will buy it later, haven't had this much fun in ages thanks

must admit this is a hidden jem, was looking at something to play over Christmas as i get bored easily tbh and it's quite atm on the alpha and beta fronts, so it's game time for me i guess[:D][;)]

Image

who ever is on that 82mm got some good eyes and a steady hand as they are accurate that is for sure and well dug in

Ah, good idea to try it with the Demo to make sure it's your 'cup of tea' and runs ok on your system.

Those half tracks should be able to move without being in radio contact, unless they have suffered damage or gotten bogged down in the snow. But n the Reaction phase, you can't change their orders (well you can order withdraw in Reaction phase).

If you get tired of the gray of winter, make sure you check out the other scenario in the Demo (and it shows what the Germans faced when the tide changed later in the war ).

thanks and enjoy

i think they know i'm a idiot and prefer to do as they like, there moving now, it was me, seems i delayed there advance without knowing what i was doing, i play first, then read the manual the year after tbh, same as i test games, knowing what i'm doing alters the fun of it, as i'm laughing my head off here tbh

Image

very easy to learn, great way points and design i must say, for a older game it's seem very well laid out and tbh better than some more modern games in it's ease of use, design, playability and fun, maps great, controls are a breeze.

demo is a must for anyone wishing for a free evening of fun

i like the fact the the damaged tank moves slower as well and can be clearly marked as such and seen, it's easier to see and wonder why more aren't like this as most don't see the damage in the model etc

oh bum that's a bit close for comfort, wish i'd looked before rushing forward now, i can see why they pinned my infantry down now

Image

i bet they get a shot off before i do, or my men anyway, but it feels like me, then again i hope it's not as im sure the men would do better than me as i didn't even spot them until i was so close i noticed there buttons were a different colour[:D]

finally my infantry find how to press a fire button and i clap then a question mark jumps up and i wonder what's there also, oops i bet it's something nasty

Image

this is why you scout with infantry, as they can see where tanks can't, ah well seems i'll be playing this a few times to see how not to do it[:D][;)]

yes i'm daft, no idea what i'm doing as normal, fingers moving, brain asleep again, like alpha / beta testing 101, what a fun game, it's good that you can't see stuff, as i normally play everything on easy as you can tell, and when i can't with FOW on like this you can see why i don't play online, i die, i die a lot, i'd lose every game and what little hair i have got would be on the floor, with my biscuits, as them 82mm mortars do make some bangs.

the yellow like is me btw, but the little red one is a tracer caught moving towards the other side, that little dot way off in the distance, that my tanks nearly ran over, my god i do like this game, need to wait for GF to leave room then get me card out and buy it[:D][;)]

look it even tells me what it's firing and at what

Image

oh bum again right at the side of my tank as well, could poke the eye out of my tank driver at that close range without using a shot from the weapon, just a small stick would do[X(][:-]
