Level 8 airfield and air support

Post by Crazypantoufle »

Hello everyone!

I remember some years ago AF lvl 8 used to double the air support value.
Is it still the case?

I've just built Mukden airfield to level 8, but the air support value did not change and is still equal to the exact number of AS squads in this base.[&:]

I believe it is. What version are you running? Post a screen shot of the base display....GP

It takes a turn to update, really. The air support calculations are done early in the resolution of the turn (the replay), while the base building is done at the very end. It does not recalculate the value until the start of the next one.

Since you know it will double on the next turn, go ahead and plan for that. In a sense, it's similar to a display bug.

Its back in the latest official patch and betas. As said above you'll see it the following turn.

Thank you for your answers.[:)]

You were right, Lokasenna, it's just like a display bug. The AS doubled the next turn.
