Perhaps a bit impulsive, note the product specs.

Thank you Paul for your prompt help on the subject

Not at all impulsive as i have been playing WIF since the game first came out in the mid 80s and remains in my top Five board games, for many years i followed the ADG website waiting for them to say the computer game was ready as one of my other top Five is EIA.
not having a AI is disappointing but i have also played many many solitaire games so i will just do the same on the computer.

why did they have the AI capacity in the tutorial if its not in the game? (I assume its so later versions can use it)

AI is being developed but it takes some time. Currently I think the netplay is in focus.

I am currently playing through teamviewer. That works fine! So find a opponent and use teamviewer :)

Andrew, both AI and PBEM were originally envisaged, in addition to "NetPlay" (live play via the internet) initially for two players and ultimately for more. That is still the plan.

Due to the complexity of this game, and despite a lengthy development process, it was decided to release the game in accordance with the product page above. There were enough bugs on initial release that it was decided to focus on getting Solitaire as bug-free as possible first (that has been accomplished), then work on NetPlay (that is ongoing now). Most likely after NetPlay for two is in good shape, it will be set aside and then I cannot recall if the two-map scenarios are supposed to be next or the AI is. PBEM is a long way off, but as you indicate you've played the game a lot, I suspect you realize the amount of player interaction makes PBEM problematical.

There is another mode called Hot Seat, which is two-player, same computer. Both Hot Seat and Solitaire have been played by 2 or more players by using screen and mouse sharing programs like Teamviewer.
