Confused as always, why a box art picture when there will be no box [&:]

Also I asked a question about if the players manual could be posted on this forum when finished and could be downloaded to our computers to study the game beforehand. I asked that on 12/14. I wish someone had the courtesy to answer this, yes, no, maybe, or just maybe nobody saw the question [:(]

Who commissioned the art work?...and is there an original? Who is the artist?
Conflict with the unexpected: two qualities are indispensable; first, an intellect which, even in the midst of this obscurity, is not without some traces of inner light which lead to the truth; second, the courage to follow this faint light. KvC

German tank on High ground looking for a target. In the cold weather, fog great condition for war. I like it. So this is for what? To use in the store? Same comment as Bo no boxed game, that would be the only use for this.

Even if there is no printed manual, Matrix could still sell a boxed (hard copy) of game. They call it a Digital Express edition.

Thanks

Shame they put the commanders cupola on the wrong side of the tank and put late production model running gear with an early production turret........[:D] Nice piece of art though and looks pretty impressive

Hey Bo, I also play WoT but don't think that all the stuff that they put into the game reflects what was actually produced. [8D] Makes for a bit of fun though. Seriously, there are people out there who will endlessly debate the number of nuts on a steel wheel of a Panther G. As a scale modeller of over 40 Years, there are forums where every new model kit that is produced is forensically pulled apart for accuracy from basic dimensions through to tool fitout, vision slit numbers, cupola shape and type and the list goes on.

As a Beta tester I know Peter has a great product that will appeal greatly to the SL/ASL fanbase that I suspect is the core target market. I just think it would be a disaster if sales were lost because the artwork, while dramatic and looks visually appealing, is inaccurate.

And that is paid for on order of the game through the store? Now that I did not know.

Hi farnarkle I am very impressed by your observation and it would have nothing to do with sales that I do hope will be large, I actually compliment you for your knowledge of the Tiger 1, I play mostly with the Stug 111 but I keep my favorite tank gassed up and ready to go, "the famous Leichttraktor"
