Garrison Unit bug

There is a hidden garrison unit in Rostov. There is a German Mech in German territory to the SE.

Attempting to move the German Mech directly North into empty German territory results in an surprise attack on the garrison. [8|]

Attempting to move after the surprise attack to the same hex is normal.

Hi willgamer,

That's a very aggressive garrison indeed.

Given you've got all three objectives on the ropes they are probably getting desperate.

It's the Rostov Garrison that is attacking and it's doing so 'cause a couple of it's artillery types appear to have a range of 2 hexes which is incorrect.

This is something that was fixed early on but appears to have snuck back in.

Hey there,

It is not a bug. It is just a rare occasion.

The shortest route to the hex just north of the mech unit is through Rostov, hence it gets involved in surprise combat.
