Maneuvering, resting, and air strikes this day. More ground action tomorrow on the Malay Peninsula.
Stragglers north of Saigon.
One TD Bn will not be ready for several days at Lang Son. All others will be ready tomorrow, and could attack even now but will take that little bit of extra sleep for the edge it provides. A mobile artillery unit and a combat engineer regiment (95% prepared for Lang Son, that one) have joined the host outside the walls.--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Tone!
Based on course, which at the end of the day is east, this is a breakout attempt. Good thing they were intercepted by our next destroyer flotilla on station. Now they are heading for the shipping lanes, but those are momentarily empty. They should come within range of torpedo armed bombers at Jesselton or Cam Ranh Bay or both. Dutch DD Kortenaer will be passing by Jesselton and might engage as well. Shannon's DDs will try and catch them before heading back to Saigon to replenish. All except DD Pringle, which will head straight back to get in line for dry dock.--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

The 1st Aus Para Bn, the ones who seized the base at Probolinggo, are now moving out to Djokjakarta. In concert with movements by other units, that position will cut off Soerabaja from the rest of the island.
I'm figuring on two days (turns) from now to begin loading the Okinawa invasion forces. At the same time we'll sort out the various warship task forces. All of those are at Guam to make that easy.
Indochina.
