Request - Invert PanzerGruppe in Summary

VR designs has been reinforced with designer Cameron Harris and the result is a revolutionary new operational war game 'Barbarossa' that plays like none other. It blends an advanced counter pushing engine with deep narrative, people management and in-depth semi-randomized decision systems.

Request - Invert PanzerGruppe in Summary

Post by WingedIncubus »

Hey there,

Kudos on a wargame that can easily become a classic of Eastern front wargames. Coming from WITE it's a purchase I don't regret. [:D]

I have a small, I admit purely cosmetic request concerning the PanzerGruppe Summary. Currently the data is presented from Top-Down : Süd, Mitte, Nord. That, I must admit, confused me the first times. Since most of the information in other panels are in inverted order, could the data be presented from Top-Down: Nord, Mitte, and Süd?

Thanks!

Can I hijack this thread for another Request?

- a keyboard shortcut for the Radio Report-Button would be nice (more keyboard shortcuts anyway)
- in the Radio Report itself I can read how many battles this division fought. It would be interesting to see also a win/loss info. I know this is arcadey, but it helps me getting attached, which makes everything more immersive.

Oh and of course I second Drakkens request. Took some time to get used to it.

I agree and defiantly more hotkeys. Off hand how about regime coloring, hex grid. I don't know about anyone else but at max zoom out i cant read the town/cities labels, the font sucks.

Hi Drakken,

The Comptroller of Reports has listened to your, and others, request and has already changed this ready for the next update.

@kosmo
The win/loss battle info is doable for individual Divisions. It's on the list.

Hotkeys are also there but they are a little trickier and more involved for reasons technical.

Cheers,
Cameron

I have another request, if not asking for too much.

As of now, there's no archive of a player's past Decisions or the Chief of Staff's reports. These are lost on the next turn. Would it be feasable to add a screen which lists each Decision per date/turn with its Chief of Staff report appearing when selected? I would like to be able to check back on what choices I had selected on each past Decisions and recheck what results were reported.

Thanks!

Hi,

There are two new reports coming with the next update.

One showing a full list of all cards played (for both regimes along with some details such as who the cards were played on) and one for decisions (played and delegated).

The cards gives a list from the start of the game but the Decisions are only for the previous turn. Having them go back to the start of the game isn't practical as there is a lot of information to display even for the one turn.

Cheers,
Cameron

The selected unit (and subordinate units), should be more recognizable. The double white board does not have a good visual impact. Better orange than white, for example.
