Netplay first, missing rules, optional rules and especially half map scenario's second, multiplayer netplay third, AI last (sorry Bo, but that's my vote).

Someone may think this game doesn't need an AI, but I don't agree with them. Even a bad AI will increase sales and the more sales, the better it is, IMHO...

But the bug fixing should be top priority. There are still some around which are pretty annoying at times...

+1. My one suggestion would be to address the special rules for the half map scenarios before the other optional rules as the second priority.

And I shall await the AI which is to be part of this computer wargame. The anti-AI comments are irrelevant; the AI is to implemented as promised.

Bo,

Every beta tester who posted a bug report to the MWIF Development Forum helped me with the work on MWIF. Don't discount your contributions[:-] - I certainly do not[&o].

Of course the more posted bug reports, the larger the contribution (in general). I recall a lot from you for Guadalcanal and naval operations.[;)]

+1

I thought you did a great job on your AAR's Bo. I did read them [:)]

I actually wish you would do some more as I really liked your style. Any chance of that?

So there are still people who think voting about what they want matters? Still people who believe this is a commercial project, and not the pastime of a retiree filling his golden years with hobby work? Listen, this is Steve's model train and he thanks you very kindly for accomplishing the tedious chores of flocking the trees and painting the trestles, but when it comes to deciding where to lay the track and who gets to control the choo-choo, he's not asking for suggestions. Now stop bothering him, there's bug from 1998 he's trying to solve.

Very much appreciated Nummy, but the truth was I was out of my league when it came to a true AAR Like the Coral Sea and Blitzkreig the invasion of Poland and France, actually even though it offended me slightly [ not really[:@]crussdaddy was right it was not a true AAR [:(]] because the truth is I never did one before and was not real sure how to go about it.

When you see the great AAR's that came later by Orm and warspite you could see the huge difference by these two friends of mine of the knowledge they had of the game as compared to me but what I am most proud of is I got them off their dead a** [:D] and got them to do great AAR's that should be appreciated by every poster here.

So in reality they are running the AAR show and others, and more power to them.

I really don't think this game needs a A.I. It's a excellent game and it is a computer game of the Board game. If they dumb it down to install a A.I., I won't waste my money. Just my Nickle.

You are getting your nickles worth now, playing yourself,[:(] but when Steve puts in the two half maps, netplay and hopefully an AI it will be worth $200 US and worth every penny of that figure trust me on that.

Bo,

In one of your post you asked for a pie chart. Here's mine ...

By the way, these are "Strategic Strategy" games. I've played a lot of tactical strategy games, Panzer Leader, Panzer Blitz, Squad Leader, Cross of Iron, Panzer Corps, Battlefield Academy, War at Sea, Victory in the Pacific, all of which aren't reflect in these totals.

Actually rkr I was quoting from the movie Rendition, [pie charts] but I deleted that post. I am not the brighest lamp on the street rkr so I will admit I have no idea what these charts mean in the year 2015, not being smart I do not see what you are driving at, help me out please. Actually I am trying to lay off the AI right now as it seems to attract lightning.

Though a serious points from my pie chart that's accurate for me is that over my lifetime of playing WW2 grand strategy games, approximately 6 out of 10 of my games have been played solitary. No sure what significance that is ...

On a much less serious not you have to admit that those are two nice looking pie charts. [:D]

What I understand, its the game I want, other than Net play. I board game 98% of the time(Solo and face to face). I've given up on A.I's, there almost never any good. Also Mwif is a Board game applied to a computer....what part of that don't you understand? Now if you want A.I., knock yourself out. I don't care.[>:][>:]

First of all I apoligize for the remark "what part of that dont you understand," I do not like it when it is said to me, but I never had the board game I just know the computer game and that is why I said that.

I agree most AI's are not good but I have complete confidence that Steve will have a workable AI up and running someday. Of course you should play the game the way you want I do not remember posting anything different. Maybe my so called problem is I have been testing and playing MWIF solitaire for about 6 years and I feel I need another way to play it.

If you play about 98% solo and you enjoy a game that way then that is fine with me NP.
