German Aircraft Production

Eagle Day to Bombing of the Reich is a improved and enhanced edition of Talonsoft's older Battle of Britain and Bombing the Reich. This updated version represents the best simulation of the air war over Britain and the strategic bombing campaign over Europe that has ever been made.

German Aircraft Production

Post by Mac Linehan »

Gents-

Am starting a new 1943 campaign (as Germany), with Alter Ego's editor mod, Nick Bell's Map Mod and Turner's (latest 1.15) FW Mod.

I have long since forgotten how to change a factory's aircraft production; but suspect that with the FW mod, a factory will upgrade to the next model automatically on a certain date? Or do I have to do it manually?

As a long time WitP AE Player, I suspect that the associated engine, airframe and avionics components would also have to be available.

Thanks for these awesome mods, they are absolutely First Class. I am grateful for all of the help received from this forum.

Note: Just finished the rules, and started the game. The memories came flooding back of the hours and hours of excitement spent on the original Talon Soft release of this game in 1999.

By the way, the multi color map mod is outstanding.

Also: when radar ranges are "on", some are red and some are white. I would presume that that the red means damaged? Will have to take a look in game. Just noted that there is a mix of Mammut and Freya stations- outstanding!

The red are Freya and the white are Mammut.

Hi warshipbuilder!

I Suspected that that was the case, Thank You for the confirmation.

A very nice touch.

Have just finished Bill Gunston's exceptional "Night Fighter" (second, 2001 edition- but I also have the original). Am really fired up about playing!
