New troop type question

Post by elmo3 »

I want to make a German armored car troop type and add it to the existing troop type library I have which is a copy of your Volkov library.

When I click on the Add Troop Type button do I have to pick an existing type or should I use the first available Reserved SFType?

Edit - The word Reserved has me thinking they are not to be used.

Reserved should not be used indeed. Going to hide them in the next version.

Best to choose Light Tank as the base for an armoured car troopType.

Best wishes,
Vic

Can't load my armored car pic. I found a pic and saved it as a .png file in my Smolensk directory. When I try to load it into the sideways gfx field by double clicking it a message that the file does not exist pops up.

Edit - If I copy the pic to the community Eskubi folder then I can add it to the sideways field, but I thought you said added graphics and such should go in the scenario folder.

Never mind. Giving up on the armored car idea.

Edit - How do I remove a troop type library? The button to remove it is grayed out in the simple editor. That library does not affect any units since all it had was the armored car and no units will use it now.
