cool.... keep going... i think its much more developed now than it was.....

personally.. i dont believe you need the michigan in the scenario.... and i dont belive the navy would have it there as its kind of over kill for these limited targets... i bet its in the w pacific.. sw pacific.. sea of japan...etc... however i bet we have ssn's in the vicinity...

blue has so much air power... that once you decided to squeeze the trigger on the russians they are balls of flame falling out of the sky.... amd that once you take out the snow drift... its just a matter of time before red is wiped out....

a couple of things would make it dynamically more difficult....
if red had more air defenders out on patrol....
and if there was a trigger wherein the russians start the fight and they initially have the initiative...
or or you have some event that make the turks start the fight... one that takes the blue player by surprise...

some syrian hinds on attack missions would add ambiance... or some such thing...
and maybe red mobile units east of the mountains.. so blue cant just sneak up the back door to latakia without dealing with them first..

im just throwing stuff out there... layer of events... scenario creep i guess you guys call it... but it could be would be fun and would be plausible...

I like the way you think. You have some great ideas and I'd be lying if I said I haven't thought of some of them myself :) I really am leaning towards beaching Michigan. Without her, it makes the scenario a bit more challenging for Blue. Blue air will have to handle the SA-21 problem by itself.

Right now I'm working on some possible triggers and scenario dynamics. If all goes well, the newest version will be under the Christmas tree Thursday night :)

How about replacing the Michigan with B-2s and or B-52s?

I tried it with a B-52 with MALDs and with F35's..... Both worked good..... And b1's....

It's a very cool sandbox scenario… Playing in editor mode…

Hell, playing most scenarios in the editor mode is a lot of fun :)

Glad you're enjoying this one.

That's a good idea worth looking into

Merry Christmas to everybody and if you do not celebrate Christmas, I'd like to wish you Happy Holidays. [:)] I found some quiet time last night and made a few changes to the scenario. Positive ones, I hope. The final, polished version will be posted sometime next week before the New Year. Hope you enjoy this one in the meantime.

Some of the changes in this version.....

USS.Michigan and USS.Connecticut have been removed
Ready times for Incirlik and Akrotiri aircraft have been revised.
Russian Kilo class SS has been removed.
Scoring has been edited and (Hopefully) simplified
A limited number of Syrian MiGs have been added.
Su-24MP Fencer F (ECM) has been added
