the JFB in me looks at the P50/P65 and thinks way overpowered - and with PDU on you could fill out more squadrons as replacement rates seem very high

i have no justification for the following other than JFB panic :)

how about:
a) increasing the service rating to 3 (P65) and 4 (P50) to reflect a dodgy turbo-supercharger
b) reducing the production/replacement rates significantly
c) slightly reduce its stats across the board as apparently it was never tested with weapons fitted? (or is this already allowed for?)

Greatings,

I just started to play this Mod and it really looks great;
I usually only play as Japan and PBEM with an old trustable friend from SPWAW era;
Checking the Jap OOB I found two Judy units, D4Y1 and Y3 versions, are they suppoused to be present at 1941?
The scen is 72 with Soviets not active;
Another point, considering this Mod pure fictional, is regarding german stuff;
Since the japaneses can produce the Arado Ar196 would not possible to add licensed versions of the Me 109 and the FW 190 too?
Of course one may argue that Japan never built any of them but Japan received some units and put them to test, the player would decide if would be worth to produce any or not;
Anyway just my 2 cents;

Cheers

Hi folks.

Don't shoot the messenger, but.....

At some point we need to shelve our wants for the time being and let these guys get us an updated patch.

Just sayin'...

Thanks, Nate
I have a subtle and cunning plan.

+1

The big drawback of these player modded scenarios is that updates and bug fixes require restarts.

I'm still playing my game that was started on the initial release of the scenario without the benefit of any bug fixes or enhancements.

I've invested around 220+ turns now and am loathe to cash it in and start over only to have yet another update released a week later.

I'm basically holding off restarting to get the benefits of all the new stuff until new stuff stops getting added.

Was wrong about being 220+ turns in. I WAS 220+ turns in, around end of July '42 until my desktop crashed.

I had also been playing the game on my laptop, but it was over 45 days behind the one on my desktop.

Picked up on the one on the laptop and it is now 203 turns in, June 27th '42, to be exact.

Sorry for the lack of updates all, this is the busiest time of year for me (I manage a 18,000 sq foot liquor store), so I simply haven't had time for WitP.

In a couple of weeks, I'll be in the slow season and I'll be able to get these bugs ironed out and hopefully come out with the first release version of Focus Pacific.Please continue to post issues as you see them - the more we see, the more we can fix.

Thank you all for your patience, testing, and feedback.

Hey, I may current test run, I am now running a CV covering force for resupply of Wake at the end of jan beginning of feb 42. Yeah, I know, I broke the AI. But that's fine. I'm just skimming for bugs anyway. But it's the first time I have ever done that before....GP

It may be from a previous iteration, but the French navy doesn't have the biggest bench of TF leaders either.

Para, Here's my New Years gift for you;

1. The B-19D upgrade date needs to be fixed. From 42/05 to 43/05
2. Air unit VS-71 is on USS Wasp. Their is another air unit 2858 with the same name. Needs a changin....
3. Air units 2827, 2828, and 2829 are listed as B-19P Raider Float Patrol and arrive at Hilo. These aircraft should arrive at LA or EUSA. Much to large to float I think. Also under Navy control. It's a Army aircraft as far as I know. Also, Bomb load is higher. I think it was about 10 ton.

Happy New Year....GP

Part two;
1. All types of leaders need to be checked. Even USN sub Skippers. I have 5 left at the end of feb 42. Had to change a few.
2. French CA Suffren, First upgrade delay set to 0. For the size upgrade it has it should be 20 to 24 days in a port of size 5. Or maybe break up the upgrade into 2 parts. One for Feb and one for Aug....GP

Gen Patton or anyone else playing the allies. If you have made it past Dec 42, how is the 13th Arm Division? In my mod I noticed that it can be bought out.

All of those extra divisions can be bought out. However, the only way I've been buying the U.S. ones is to transfer them to II Corps, which means 1/4 the PP cost. If you have a house rule against discounted buyouts, those extra divisions will be remaining in Aden, Cape Town and Salt Lake City for a long time.
