Options > Elevation Delta

Options > Elevation Delta -- One of the more obscure game options. What is it used for?

From time to time, you will play scenarios with mountainous terrain, and Escarpment (and Cliff) views like this one:

See the magenta circles. Do you see how the Escarpment graphics don't line up properly with the hex outlines, and the hex area the Escarpment sides are meant to encompass? Ugh.

The above is with Options > Elevation Delta > 1. Let's try setting that to Elevation Delta > 3:

Ah, that's better!

So now you know. If ever you are playing in mountainous terrain and the elevation graphics don't look quite right, try experimenting with Options > Elevation Delta, setting the Delta to 1, 2 or 3 -- whichever looks best.

Perhaps a idea.
- Gray out menu entries if the entry not used with the current map mode.
- Use this option for the 2d view,
Delta.1 = default
Delta.2 show level 1=1, 2=3, 3=5 etc
Delta.3 show level 1=1, 2=4, 3=7 etc
this give more contrast within the 2d views. (only if there are not to much levels on the map.
