Matrix Waterloo stops working after 1.0043 install

Purchased Matrix Waterloo, when I installed the 1.0043 patch the game no longer works.

AMD Phenom x4 2.2
Nvidia 8400 524

add the exe of the game to your Anti Virus and firewall program, to make sure to check the logs of these to see if it was one of them which was to blame.

run the game from a admin account and use full admin permissions.

please make sure all game pre requisite are installed with the game, even if you think or fully know there are already installed, it will only over write, and it may be that you have a older or newer version of these where as the game in question may need a certain version.

as one of your reports give a error with .net as well, and see if that helps, if not uninstall game and then reinstall, as maybe a bad patch, good luck

It can be directx problem, your log stopped exactly during the map upload like that one of this problem.

Just to recap the procedure:

1 - download from here http://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download ... px?id=8109
2 - execute the downloaded file
3 - it will ask to be extracted in a temp directory, confirm it
4 - enter in this temp directory after the process terminated.
5 - search the dxsetup.exe
6 - execute it and complete the install process.
7 - restart the PC just to be sure.
