Beta Patch 1.02

Backed up the exe file and the scenario folder. Updated via the zip file.

Received file from my opponent and changed extension to dc3.

Started game. Got to the load file. Selected. Got to the enter password. Entered the password, game seemed to hang, then went back to desktop, game no longer running. At same time got
a message from Sonar Norton that the file was suspicious and deleted the exe file and the save game file.

Never had trouble before with a Matrix game and Norton.

Any suggestions.

download patch from here on the site and retry

add the exe of the game to your Anti Virus and firewall program, to make sure to check the logs of these to see if it was one of them which was to blame.

run the game from a admin account and use full admin permissions.

I would advice to revert to v1.01 and await the official 1.02 installer. Manual installs (as indicated in the beta thread) can cause issues with some anti-virus software.

Re-Downloaded. Unzipped. Approved file in Norton. Started game, everything works.
