You can turn off the VP locations in the options. Seeing those areas "change hands" we consider a soft intel kind of event. enemy is in the area, but you have no idea just what that enemy is. Info could have come from recon flights, spec ops in the rear area, civilians passing info, etc.

There will be a number of significant changes in the orders and command constructs as we work on Southern Storm. We are looking at both players suggestions and also those things we want to do to make the game play better, play as we intend as a command simulation, but also be game enough for players to enjoy. It's a fine line to dance on, but we believe we are heading in the right directions. [8D]
OTS is looking forward to Southern Storm getting released!

The game is pretty comprehensive as it is now. It's just going to get better with future versions.
