Settings info summary on Top Bar

Post by willgamer »

Understanding the context of AARs, screenshots in general, might be helped by embedding into the Top Bar a summary of the game difficulty and settings. While this would be not be self explanatory, it can be decoded to understand the settings that the game is using. For example, A normal game played with the default settings as shown in the manual on p. 17., with checks represented by 1's and blanks by 0's, and with commas to delineate the setting's columns-

SetSum=N,1001,0010,00000

Another example, if Geneva was unchecked and Past History Off was checked-

SetSum=N,1001,0000,00010

There seems to be sufficient room for this just to the right of the PP stat on the left of the Top Bar. IMHO, this would help greatly understanding what I'm looking at. [:)]

Hi willgamer,

Top bar real estate is hard come by. We would have loved to use more of it but we have had to cater for some pretty low screen resolutions and what's there at present has maxxed out the lot.

Cheers,
Cameron
