Fuel: moving FSB
Hi, I'd like to move my AGN FSB to Kaunas but I don't have any available decision/option to do so.
In fact I can see that my trucks from Koninsberg are doing a large turn to the north passing by Tilsit to go to Kaunas. And I have a "forbiden" red sign on the rail track just before Kaunas. So My deduction is that for some reasons the trains (the line Koninsburg-Kaunas) are not available, which would explain that I cannot relocate my FSB. And my HQs are yellow.
- What should I do ?
- How/where do I ensure the exact nature/cause of my fuel logistic problems ?
Thanks

The forbidden sign is probably a blown bridge, it will repair in a while. You can check the repair % each turn in some report.

Wow ! the fuel management is really interesting in this game. This is pure strategy and management. Very well done I love it. Not an easy task however ...

RE: Fuel: moving FSB
OK, here's is an example (see screenshot)
My pipeline is all red, I think because my HQ is >10 hexes from the MAIN depot. So I'd like to get a FSB in LVOV to get the fuel there by train, which I think would fix my pipeline issue. But I don't have any available decision to do so ...
How can I do that ?
Thanks.

It might be a good idea to conquer Lvov first?

Hi nukkxx,
I'd be expecting some major truck problems down south.
You've got a seriously overextended truck column route that's having to cover large distances cross country.
If you could, until your FSB is up and running in Lvov, shorten the route and provide a direct road/rail link to your PG HQ it'd be a big help.
Cheers,
Cameron

Well, now I reconquest Lvov, here 's the situation (see pics). I hope it will fix itself once the FSB will be established in Lvov (in 8 days I think).
In the north the situation is not brilliant neither. Why is HQ4 not delivered from Koningsberg but from Warsaw ?
In the center I never had the option to relocate a FSB to Grodno which seems a good candidate. Why ? Because of the broken bridge ?
I would appreciate any additional comment to help me understand my disastrous fuel situation ...
Thanks
(PS: two more pics to come)

My 2P.
AGN: Your FSB is at Kaunas and trucks are coming from there.
AGC: Don't move to Grodno (can't as you say due to broken bridge). Take Minsk and relocate FSB there.
AGS: assume you have just moved your FSB via the Decision as it shows as at Krakow? Your report says AGS truck maintenance is running at 35% and there are insufficient truck columns to move fuel to your PZ Gp. That is why the truck symbols are white = totally broken/stopped.

RE: Fuel: moving FSB
But why is Koninsberg not involved at all ? I was expecting Kaunas to be delivered by trucks from Koninsberg rather than Warsaw. No ?
And referring to Grodno, as far as the broken bridge is concerned, the situation is similar to the one in Kaunas (bridge there is broken too). So why can Kaunas be a FSB and not Grodno ?

Kaunas gets supplied by Trains from Königsberg, but your FSB is not fully ready and therefore no Trains are running

RE: Fuel: moving FSB
I'm not so sure because of the blown bridge at Kaunas. IMO no trains can use this track until the bridge is repaired. Hence the trucks from Warsaw (pipelineline #3).Kaunas gets supplied by Trains from Königsberg, but your FSB is not fully ready and therefore no Trains are running
No ?

RE: Fuel: moving FSB
Hi,
AGN.
No train link between the main depot at Koninsgberg and the FSB at Kaunus. No train icons showing as a result. Completely shut down. Fuel not getting through to your FSB.
AGC.
You can't relocate your FSB to Grodno 'cause there is no train link. Broken bridges shut down train links.
FSB is still back at the main depot in Warsaw. Horrendous truck column link to 3 Pg but averaged out with the link to 2 PG so not so bad.
Going on the pic above you also don't have a viable train link to Minsk.
I'd be relocating your FSB in AGS to Lvov as it looks like you've running short of truck columns.
Cheers,
Cameron

RE: Fuel: moving FSB
Thanks ! very useful analysis !
One more question, we are now couple of turns later : Why is POSEN involved ? I think it's not a MAIN, nor a FSB. So why is it involved and what's its role (if any) ?
Thanks !
I really want to fully understand this key aspect of the game. It seems a must to me
And I really love it. Very clever and very well done ! Great stuff.

RE: Fuel: moving FSB
Posen is involved as your AGN trains have to go from Konigsberg to Posen to Warsaw to Kaunas. Enemy occupied territory blocks the direct route from Konigsberg to Kaunas.
