Scenario Ideas

I am a writer of a five book series entitled World War Three 1946. It is an Alternative History that poses the "what if" of Stalin attacking the west in May of 1946 while we were at our weakest in Europe.

I have designed scenarios for the flight simulation IL2 Sturmovik, Times of Fury, Empires of Steel and Strategic War in Europe based on my novels. I have modified the spreadsheets, graphics and rules.

Let me know if want to see any of them to possibly incorporate them in your product.

Hi Hubert:

I'll vouch for Harry's writings. I have just finished "Red, White and Blue: The Giant Re-awakens" and am looking forward to his new book "Red Sea". (Get writing Harry!):)

It's a great scenario that he has imagined.

I also really enjoyed the 1948 World War Three scenario that we had for SC2 Global and I think that some type of amalgamation of the ideas would be a great addition to SC3. 1948 was great as it included the Chinese Civil War, an early Korean War, wars over the creation of Israel, Indo-Pakistani war and all of the leftist uprisings in Latin America, Southeast Asia and Africa.

I did help out a very small amount on the 1948 scenario with some events etc. and would be happy to help out a World War Three scenario as well with whatever I can.

I'm not that great of a writer and a horrible editor but I believe I have a very interesting story going. I am up to 1,000,000 hits on alternatehistory.com.

Hints: The atomic bomb does not play a huge role nor does the strategic bomber. It will be a exercise in maneuver warfare and logistics. Follow the teachings of Sun Tzu and you will prevail.

It will make for a very exciting and fast paced scenario for a strategic scale game. Hopefully the map will stretch from Canada in the NW to Kuwait in the SE for us to follow the story.

Mr. Cater has already contacted me and I am looking forward to designing a scenario and would welcome any assistance you could offer.

Sounds good Dave. I'll PM you a synopsis of the story line and you can think about how to implement it based on our limited knowledge of the game system.

Here is a screen shot of the initial setup in Time of Wrath. As you can see the Soviets are very strong and "NATO" is very weak. This is historically accurate for May, 1946
