CW land a FTR2 on Ceylon. France rebase one heavy and one medium bomber to the maginot line.

No reorganization.

Germany - Land
Italy - Naval
Japan - Combined

No port attacks

The Italians fly a couple of NAV to the Italian Coast

- The Japanese fleet sails into the China Sea
- A couple of TRS loaded with INF and MECH DIV sail for Canton

An unescorted CONV sails for the Italian Coast. I assume no interception as its obvious the CONV will be staying in the area.

The Vaunted Italian fleet then sail into the Italian Coast. Do you want to intercept?

Okay I cannot save the game and Orm is not around. I will therefore decide for him. It is likely that the fleet is heading elsewhere. If so then the subs can get at the convoy later. If not then North Africa remains out of supply. The French therefore do not intercept.

The fleet move into the Eastern Mediterranean and the CW are asked if they want to intercept. I assume yes as they outnumber the Italians and likely have the better sea area.

The roll fails with an 8.

The Italians do not seek combat in either zone.

Do the CW want to bring any aircraft in?

No aircraft, thank you.

And, if possible, CW will try to bring battle to the Italian Fleet.

What about the French in the Italian Coast?

Looks like Orm is offline again. I will assume no interception as there are NAV in the area and the Allies can bring in units later to deal with these.

Throws of 7 + 5 mean no fighting this impulse in the Eastern Mediterranean.

No Strat Bombing
No Ground Strike
No Rail Movement

The Japanese in Manchuria head south.
The Germans in the north head for Poland
The Germans (and Romanians) head for Romania and Hungary and.... well anywhere that's not the Soviet Union really.

Damn - forgot to cancel an attack. Do the Soviets want to bring any aircraft on a 3:1 no modifiers attack? The Japanese have one fighter they can bring in.

No, thank you.

I'll select assault for the combat table.

So its a 3:1 no modifiers. The throw was a 5 which means one loss each and disorganisation. The Japanese loses its Mech.

The Japanese re-base to Vladivostok, Mukden and Soeul. One of the aircraft showed as out of supply when it took off. Should it not be disorganised on landing?

The Luftwaffe in northern Russia are less than happy with the army's defeatist attitude - but decide if they are going home then so will they...

And so the impulse ends on a weather throw of 3 - its fine everywhere except the Northern Monsoon.

No declarations of war.

Land: CW, USSR, China
Combined: USA
Naval:
Air: France
Pass:

France port strikes La Spezia with a carrier and a naval bomber. They have a fighter and a fighterbomber on standby if the need to intercept enemy fighters should arise. Will Italy use their fighter to intercept the port strike?

No. Rebasing never disorganizes the flying unit. Supply does not matter.

No thank-you. The pilots of the RA sense a change of regime is in the air - and so are less than keen to die trying to stop it happening.

The port strike sinks one Italian convoy point.

Edit: Surprise points had no effect during this port strike.

India begins to patrol along the Italian coast with a fighter.

No naval movement.

CW bombs Naples. France bombs Stuttgart, Vienna and Genoa. Germany can send a fighter to Stuttgart but France can counter that with two fighters. Italy can try and protect Genoa with their fighter. France has a fighter on standby that can reach Genoa as well.

Will Germany or Italy send up their fighter?

Only the Vienna raid produced any result (a 2,8,1, and a 3 was rolled).

No ground strikes. No rail movement.

CW land a MOT and a Garr in France.

USSR attacks Harbin in Manchuria. CW attacks the Italians south of Tripoli. Will the Italian HQ provide any defensive HQ support?
