The counter art you see on the official screenshots is the final version.

To be honest for an old wargamer like me is a small issue but for the New blood it may well be a no sale!

I don't think the "New Blood" folks even know what Squad Leader or ASL are [;)] Band of Brothers, Valor & Victory, Band of Heroes. Lock N Load has been revising all the titles and issued new rules to clean up
their games since Mark left. Good stuff.

Course it isn't like HPS/ JTS has killer counters in Squad Battles [:)]

Course the new peeps could use mods for TotH too [;)]

I feel like a kid again in 1979 [:'(]

JTS graphic tweaks are fun and random too ... editing the basic counter appearance is a quick jump into paintbrush (Wehrmacht powder blue always must be eliminated as a priority) ... while changing that hot pink Divisional marker assigned to your elite SS unit is a bit of a crap shoot where editing the Division name in the OOB Editor yields random changes .... Fun ;)

Hope TotH has similar freedom ....

Seems like all the terrain takes up the whole hex? i.e., all the woods, grain, etc. will be the same?

You can mod TotH's terrain also, here I improved the boardgame feeling, to mod units I used VASL graphics.
