Just played the same scenario as Kushan, Got all three of my subs nuked with one depth charge, the good thing was that they were all close to the Kiev which was also nuked by that Depth charge so the Ruskies nuked their own carrier LoL I ended with a minor victory from losing all my subs to a nuke, we may need some AI adjustment for using Nukes close to own units

I had either one of the escorts or a helo nuked a biologic and it took out two of the Kievs escorts.

Never even saw the Kiev. I made the mistake of sending them north into the shallow water. Should have pulled them back to deeper water and waited. I ended up cheating and opened the scenario in editor mode just to see how far behind the Kiev I was, didn't move my subs however. Lost one sub in the chase when it ran afoul of a sonobouy line and by then it was time to call it for the day.

Great stuff K[:)]

BUT you have no precedent to use tactical nukes

These need to be taken off the shopping list cos the predicted AI outcome is no where near accurate.

Any use of a tactical nuke would start off Armageddon, game over for everyone.

Nuke ending is usually just for fun after playing a majority of scenarios.

Nuke ending for fun - Ermm?[&:]

I got this link

wiki/Millennium_Challenge_2002

If that isnt really scary, and these guys can push buttons, its no wonder Russia and USA backed away from strategic MAD in the days when they had a hot line. Have they re-instated the hotline? or do they just Twitter each other?

Streaming today, 11am PST/19:00 GMT. Today's scenario is going to be a relatively simple Freedom of Navigation sweep through the Strait of Taiwan using a LCS group.

Sorry for no streams the last couple of weeks. Been sick with the flu this last week and the few weeks before that I was out house hunting. But now I'm recovering and my new house is now in the process of closing so I should be able to get back to regular a schedule.

Sorry I missed your stream today, just watched replay and wanted to let you know the F-22 has a LPI radar (low probability of intercept) it basically means you can use it in active mode and unles enemy has very advanced elint you will be well within AMRAAM range before your emmissions are detected. the first encounter with F22 you were in amraam range off bore site you were looking at your cannon when it said out of range. Also recommend you turn off contact emissions to none or selected only to clear up screen clutter. Should focus more of the alpha strike on the DDG to eliminate it's aegis like defenses. Also your china forces were at least 2 times as capable as the US task force, another Burke with maybe some SM6 also use Seahawk helos in maritime patrol mode out of range of task force. Your SM2 were downing the SU-30 aircraft using essm for missiles but 1 Burke with 1/3 its vls used for land attack tomahawks and anti sub missiles is not gonna hold off a multipronged ASM launch from 6-8 modern warships. as you probably noticed the LCS anti-air systems are trash.
