I was pleased with your AGN progress. The Center was wonderful early but it appears you've taken extensive casualties with AGC and AGS was also as other said amazing.

I think in order to threaten Moscow(unless Red Casualties are much higher than they appear) you will need to finish Leningrad early and move that PG South...

Hi BVW.

The Centre hasn't quite gone to plan in terms of Soviet Casualties but I'm happy to be where I am looking at the date. This turn the Soviets pulled back from Vyazma.

In terms of casualties. Here's the view:

AGN post moves.

18th Army assaults Tallinn, destroys 2 divisions but failed to take the City. Next time Gadget. Next time.

16th Army edges neared to Leningrad. Only 60 km's away now.

Siege guns are in theatre at Pskov waiting to move forward.

AGC post moves.

A successful few days here.

The Reds pulled back from Vyazma which was captured by 9th Army this turn.

2nd and 3rd Pz Gp's combined to isolate 9 enemy Divisions which are fairly securely locked down. FSB will move up to Vyazma ASAP and the Pz's will have a last breather before the final push on Moscow.

AGS post moves.

1st Pz Gp is unleashed spreading out from the Kiev bridgehead.

It's likely the small pocket to the south of Kiev will be broken but I'm in a decent position here. Unit counters can be deceptive. Of the units immediately in front of 1st Pz Gp 80% of them are trashed with combat values <30.

A pocket was also formed and annihilated by 6th Army on the swamps NE of Kiev. This wiped out 10 divisions.

11th Army advances 30 km's to Perekop.

Turn 17.

Post AGN moves.

Tallinn again fails to surrender. Another Rifle Division is toast though. Hope for next turn!

4th Pz Gp is on the move again and smashes forward and is at the gates of Leningrad. It's tough as there's a couple more Armies in the area now and good defensive terrain.

Siege artillery will be at the gates next turn.

AGC post moves.

Both of the cut off Groups of Reds were destroyed this turn (9 more Divisions toast).

Other than just a small sets of advances by 9th and 4th Armies.

Rzhev and Kaluga are taken.

FSB is moving up to Vyazma and 2nd Pz Gp is put on a long overdue rest.

Turn 18.

No Red counter attacks. They pulled back in AGC South and in AGS.

Can't wait for turn 20 and more replacements!

AGN post moves.

Tallinn finally falls to 18th Army. This is crucial since it releases 9 more divisions and 18th Army can focus on Leningrad.

These are much needed as the Reds have done what I was hoping they wouldn't - trying to push an army through the lightly held Novgorod/Valdai hills sector.

26th Army are temporarily sending 2 more Divisions SE to assist for now.

4th Pz Gp launches an attack which secures the area to the SW of Leningrad.

16th Army fails in a 6 divisions attack against Reds in Woods. Grrr.

Attack on Narva fails

Siege guns delayed as Gercke is being a ****.

Rom Front post moves.

Perekop is secured and this releases 11th Army divisions assisting to move fully to the east and focus on driving on Rostov.

4th Rom Army will now play a blocking role and will try once to break through into The Crimea then likely sit tight.

3rd Rom and 11th Armies secure Dnepro.

Turn 19.

Reds launched 2 counter-attacks which failed. 1 against Pz's near to Leningrad and the other against Rom's at Perekop.

Bring on replacements next turn.

AGN post moves.

No major moves. Siege artillery arrives at Leningrad.

18th Army reaches Narva.

AGS post moves.

1st Pz Gp cuts through and surrounds 80% of 37th Army. If all goes to plan and the encirclement remains they'll head SE of Belgorod next turn to out flank Kharkov whilst 17th advances on the front door.

Looks like you are in a good position to secure all the objectives.....

You will suffer major casualties in the centre..... And the reinforcements you receive won't be able to make good those sacrifices...
