Both. All the old ones (many updated), and a suite of new ones.

I did a screengrab of my scenario directory ( WWII - Asia ) and have sorted all the new ones to the top. A lot of these new ones
were written by Bob Cross and they are great. And some of them were written by Thomas Harvey and have just graduated their
playtest. Thomas and I are still playtesting PAW because Thomas is going to add some subchasers and some Japanese
strategic targets and we'll have to test that of course. I'm having a blast.

Hopefully I'll be able to easily generate a scenario or two based on a World War Three story I've wrote. It will be a hoot to play. I've created WWIII scenarios for IL-2 1946, Strategic War in Europe, Time of Wrath and Empires of Steel. Unfortunately the three strategic level games are just not being supported anymore.

Sounds great!!!! You'll find that there's a whole host of people who would love to help you and answer questions and stuff like that.
I'd love to hear more about your ideas for a scenario or two. WWIII sounds really great. Will you use up-to-date OOB's?

Here's the rub. Stalin decides to attack in May of 1946. The American, British, French etc. OOBs are practically zero due to demobilization. I'm not kidding, the west had 22 divisions with only one full strength. All the veterans have gone home and the occupations forces for the west consist of what were basically rookies trained as policemen.

Meanwhile Stalin has kept his best in the army and the VVS with up to 60 full strength divisions near the border alone. I know it's hard to believe but that is the true situation in May, 1946.

The US plan was to use our atomic bombs and B-29s to stem the Reds only no one told the JCS that we only had 7 bombs and no trained crews to delivery them. Really! No one told the JCS how many bombs we had. Stalin actually did know how many or how few we had. The JCS estimated that it would take over 140 to bring Stalin to his knees and we had 7. The scenario and my story are all based on actual JCS War Plans that were in place at the time.

I truly believe that the only thing stopping Stalin was his fear of the B-29 and the atomic bomb. What if the Soviets found a way to negate both? That's my story. There is a way for the west to win but it doesn't involve the overwhelming use of atomic bombs. The scenarios I've designed in the other games makes you think real hard as the US. How in the hell are we going to do this. As the Soviets you run through the initial western armies like a hot knife through butter, but then what?

By the way the RAF was virtually non-existent in May, 1946 as well, with thousands of planes just dumped in the ocean, left in jungles to rot or even dumped down mine shafts. There is a wonderful website with all the histories of the RAF squadrons. I tracked down them all.

The US did the same. The Soviets did not.

Really appreciate that you intend to build new scenarios that have a "hypothetical" basis.

Can you expand your design to explore war other than WW II Eastern Front?

Seems that TOAW has fallen into a WWII rut.

This will be the initial world of WWIII 1946.
