Most of the People are frightenend here and, because it is very clear to a mid-intelligent human, only few of them will ever leave Germany.

You heard about our new years day, at Cologne specially?

I've heard about it. No idea it was that bad [:(] I'm not making light of it, or belittling anyone. I'm genuinely curious as to why this was so wide spread without more 'locals' stepping in. That is a lot of the buzz on this side of the 'pond'. No offense I hope. The news is so sanitized I know we don't get all of what is going on.

Ack! It is the snowmageddon around here. Everyone thinks they are going to die with 3-8" of snow forecasted.

Sigh... My wild and crazy youth in Upstate NY has ruined my outlook on what a snowmageddon really is. We dealt with 12-15 feet of snow each season regularly. So, when they only call for 1/2 a foot or so, it really doesn't phase me.
